Accommodation during ERASMUS IP Archaeological Landscapes will be made in the Urla Dormitories in the IZTECH Campus which are operated by the T.R. General Directorate of Higher Education Credit and Hostels Institution. The dormitories are located at a 5-7 min walking distance to the Faculty of Architecture.
An electronic entry card will have to be issued for all participants who would like to stay at the dormitories, at a one-time price of 2,5 TL (*).
Cost of accommodation will be 9,60 TL (*) per person per night in a two-bed apartment that has its own kitchenette and refrigerator, central air conditioning, telephone and television. Apartments for male and female students are located in two different zones of the dormitory area that has wireless network access.
A blanket, blanket cover, pillow and bed sheet will be provided for all participants who are, however, required to bring their own towels. Bed dresses are changed weekly. Each apartment has liquid soap but other bathroom supplies will be available from the dormitory canteen.
The canteen is in a social building at the centre of the dormitory area that also has a cafeteria, stationery shop with xerox machine (Yurt Kırtasiye tel: +90 232 7659224), a coin-operated self-service laundry room, a billiard room, an internet room (with 25 computers), an artwork and drawing room, hair dressers, a post office and a cash dispenser.
Open buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered in the dormitory canteen and cafeteria, the former up to 12:00hr, and the latter from 12:00hr up to 19:30hr for hot meals and 23:00hr for snacks at budget prices.
Since that at the Faculty of Architecture will be closed for vacations during our project period, the stationary at the dormitory area will be our main supplier, from 09:00hr to 19:00hr during weekdays and from 10:00hr to 17:00 on Saturdays.
Entrance into the dormitory area closes at 23:00hr from Sunday to Thursday and at 23:00hr on Friday and Saturday.
